Free Pentecostal College in Voinjama gets its Accreditation Extended

Voinjama, Lofa County- The Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery (LBNM) has extended the Ruth Ramstand School of Health Science accreditation to 2020.

The LBNM in a communication to the College dated March 8, 2019 expressed gratitude to the institution of affording it the opportunity to assess the collage from November 7 to 8 2018.

According to the communication, to achieve a full accreditation and recognition status, a school has to meet 80% or above of the achievement standards.

It further indicated that the Ruth Ramstand School of Health Science met 89% of the total standards of 65 and 529 verification criteria in the assessment and as such the institution has obtained a Full Accreditation until 2020.

The result of the quality assurance assessment indicates that the programs continues to perform well and should continue to make improvement in order to maintain its status at the next accreditation assessment.

The quality assurance assessment tool contains a total of 65 standards with 529 verification in four major areas.

They include; classroom and practical instruction and assessment of learning, clinical instruction, practice and assessment, institution infrastructure and training materials and lastly the institution management/administration.
