Liberia’s latest female Gospel singer, Baryoe releases album

A rising local female Gospel Minister, Baryoe Alice Johnson is maing final preparations for the pre-launch of her first album titled: “NE MU BAIN (I Will Praise You)” at a live concert on October 28, 2018.

The pre-launch will take place at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship located in Sinkor, Warner Avenue, from 4PM to 8PM. The main objective is to raise funds for the Grand Launch of the ALBUM slated for December 16, 2018.

Baryoe, as she preferred to be called, is a talented contemporary gospel artiste known for her distinct vocal delivery. She promises to bring the audience to Christ in a refreshing atmosphere of worship, praise and dancing during her live musical concert.

The 28-year-old’s concert album launch will be graced by fellow gospel singer Min. Paul K. Harding, known for the song “You Are The Greatest!” as well as Min. Princess S. Yancy, Min. Vivian Akoto Blamah, Pst. Kla Dorteh, Min. Rangan and many others.

This rising female Gospel music star is a member of Sinkor Old Road Wesleyan Church Choir and a member of as well as the New Creation Music Ministry and the Monrovia Christian Fellowship Choir.

This inspirational album of seven (7) Worship and Danceable Praise Songs, selected from among several songs, took Baryoe years to writte.

In an interview with journalists in Monrovia, Baryoe said she took her inspiration to write the songs in the aftermath of the Liberian Civil Crisis, which has rendered some youths traumatized and less fortunate.

She disclosed that 10 percent of the proceeds raised from each CD on her debut Album will be devoted to charity.

About the Gospel Minister

Born in Liberia, Alice Baryoe Johnson is a writer and singer. She’s currently the assistant directress of the Old Road Wesleyan Church Choir and member of the Wesleyan Church of Liberia. She is also a member of the New Creation Music Ministry and several music ministries in and around Liberia.

As young as she is, Baryoe seeks to give back to her community. Looking at the aftermath of the Liberian Civil Crisis which has rendered some youths traumatized and less fortunate, Baryoe has decided to help with 10 percent on each CD of her debut Album sold.
