Multi-Service World Charity Foundation Launched In Lofa County

VOINJAMA, Liberia- A Charity Foundation named Multi-Service World Charity Foundation (MSWCF) has been launched in the northwestern Lofa County.

The Multi-Service World Charity Foundation according to its funder Alhaji Musa Sannor was established since 2018 in the United States of America with the mission to support low-income and underserved communities both in the United States and also in Africa through the provision of quality healthcare, education and livelihoods.

Mr. Sannor disclosed that operations of the foundation will be eventually spread throughout the fifteen Counties of Liberia.

Speaking recently during the official launch of the foundation in Voinjama city, Mr. Sannor said, the foundation has over the years identified with several underprivileged people across the US and as a son of Lofa, he felt to extend the foundation’s operations to Liberia beginning with Lofa as his home of origin.

Mr. Sannor, who is also the current president of the Association of Quadu Gboni Mandingos in the Americas, said current statistics show a high increase of underprivileged people across the globe with Lofa and Liberia being no exception.

“We as sons and daughters of this County and Country at large will have to join hands in addressing some of these pressing issues because central government will not do all and so we must buttress the government’s efforts with these kinds of initiatives,” he emphasized during the program on September 16, 2024.

CEO Sannor disclosed that materials distributed by the foundation over the years comes from individuals across America and other parts of the world.

One of the recipients of a wheelchair Johnson Flomo expressed gratitude to the Multi-Service World Charity Foundation for the gesture.

“This is greatly support me when it comes to my movement for one point to another because the current wheelchair that I am using breaks down most often preventing me from movement and with this, I can safely say is an empowerment for me” Johnson narrated.

Johnson who is also a social worker and a journalist at Radio Kintoma indicated that the disability is not inability and as such called on other physically challenged persons to always see themselves as contributors to the development of their individual communities and the country at large.

Apart from the distribution of wheelchairs and crutches, several other scolding materials are expected to shortly be distributed to various schools beginning with the Voinjama Public School in Voinjama city.
