Nimba County Mourning, After 6 Persons Were Killed On Gbarnga-Ganta Highway

GANTA-The commercial hub of Ganta and Nimba County in northeastern Liberia has been plunged into shock and grief today (Wednesday, July 15, 2020), after six persons reportedly lost their lives in a tragic motor accident on the Gbarnga-Ganta highway.

According to eyewitnesses, a trailer truck ran into a taxi, which was carrying marketers, badly smashing the vehicle on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Reports say it took about an hour to remove the trailer truck from over the taxi, and remove the bodies of the victims.

Officials of Nimba County have declared a day of mourning in Ganta to mourn the lost of the mainly marketers involved in the fatal road crash.

The exact cause of the accident is not yet known.
