Drama unfolded again in the Chambers of the House of Representatives when one of them, (lawmakers) was thrown out of regular session, due to what his colleagues described as ‘indecent dress code’.

Sergeant-At-Arms, General Martin Johnson was ordered by House Speaker, Bhofal Chambers to have Montserrado County district 10 lawmaker, Yekeh Kolubah escorted out of session because of his dress code.

The decision to have Representative Kolubah thrown out of the Tuesday session was reached following an observation by Montserrado County electoral district five Representatives, Thomas Fallah.

In his observation to the Speaker, the CDC representative said that the House of Representatives is not a place for a lawmaker to dress anyhow he or she feels. Representative Fallah went on to state that his colleague, Representative Kolubah was not properly dressed saying his indecent dressing breaks the rules of the House of Representatives.

The Montserrado County District #10 lawmaker was escorted out of session by the Sergeant-At- Arms, but few minutes later the Representative came back to session wearing a jacket.

On returning to session, Representative Kolubah did not show any sign of being embarrassed for being sent out by his colleagues of equal rank, but was heard speaking above his head  saying,” Mr. Speaker, I am properly dressed now.”

Although the opposition lawmaker was asked out of the chambers for not only failing to dress properly, but also caused by his constant outburst against President George Weah during regular legislative session.

On Tuesday, a member of that house in person of District 16 lawmaker, Dixon W. Siboe  wrote a communication to the plenary to acquire of his colleague, Nyumalin in what ways will they have the vacancy created as he insinuated in his statement.

Representative Nyumalin in his recent statement said, there are plans to determine that the Lofa County seat cannot be occupied by Brownie Samukai, – meaning that the decision of the Lofa people will be nullified.

Let me say this with no regrets, I owe apology to nobody that an attempt to determine the Lofa County seat should be declared vacant, all other seats from the presidency, vice presidency, to all other elected seats would be declared vacant.
