GREENVILLE, July 1(LINA) — Sinoe County electoral district #2 Representative Jay Nagbe Sloh has died. A family member confirmed Representative Sloh died few hours ago at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia, the Liberian News Agency reports.

According to Sam Wesseh, the death occurred between 9-10 pm on Tuesday June 30, 2020.

“The Honorable Man was not well and was admitted at the JFK and this evening he was pronounced dead.” He told LINA.

Though the root cause of his death is yet to be established, but some family members confirm his death to LINA via telephone in Greenville.

Some social media platforms have reported that the Lawmaker died as a result of “multiple organ failure” though LINA cannot verify the authenticity of the reports.

It can be recalled sometime back in late April this year, the Representative was in Sinoe particularly in his district creating more awareness on Covid-19 as well identifying with his people through the distribution of anti-Coronavirus materials, as part of this last visit to Sinoe until his death.

The Liberia News Agency is closely following this developing story.
