The Lamb of Agape High School continues the unbeaten runs as the champions of Margibi County booked a space to the Inter- School Sports Association National Championship slated for early this month (August) in Montserrado County.
The Upper Margibi County, ISSA-League champions, Agape High School won champions Bassa High School in the second leg of Region-2 ISSA Playoff in Kakata, Margibi County. This was due to failure of the Champions of the 2021-2022 ISSA League of Rivercess County to take part in both the kickball and football categories.

At the famous open-air Nancy B.Doe Sports Stadium in the opening fixture, the Lamb of Agape High School won a narrow 1-0 win over Bassa High School in the 1st leg on Thursday, 28 July.

In the return leg on Friday, July 29, 2022 in an away fixture, Able Killen’s early minute goal in the 13th minute of the first half give Agape High School a 1-0 win over Bassa High School to book a space to the Inter-School Sports Association National Championship.
It was the Champions of Grand Bassa County first defeat.
The boys of Grand Bassa County Bassa High School won the 2020-2021 ISSA League without a single defeat on the field.
Bassa High School won in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw at the Doris Williams Sports Stadium in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County on.
As for the Lamb of Agape High School, the team won the Scorpion of St. Augustine Episcopal Mission High School 5-4 after full time ended in a 1-out draw at the famous opened-air Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata.
Agape High School started the 2021-2022 league season with a 1-0 win over the Titans of Giddings Polytechnic Academy on 7 April in the opening fixture, settled to a goalless draw with the Tiger of Booker Washington Institute and played the Lion of Lango Lippaye High School to a 1-out draw in the group final fixture.
The Lamb of Agape High School topped Group C with 5 points as many football pundits refered to such group as the” Group of Death”.
New Testament Baptist High School
Samuel Nalon lone goal in the quarterfinals secured a 1-0 win for Agape High School over Better Foundation Academy (BFA).
The Lamb of Agape High School took an early lead through Samuel Nalon in the semifinals game with BWI but the Tigers got an equalizer with full time ending in a 1-out draw.
Goalkeeper Augustus Toby excellent goalkeeping for Agape High School secured a 4-3 win in penalties shootout for Agape High School over BWI to book a space for the grand final. The meetings between the two clubs was the second meetings in the competition with both teams failing to get a win during full 90th minutes of play.
Agape High School won 5-4 in penalty shootouts against St. Augustine Episcopal Mission High School on 7 July after a goalless draw in the grand-final of the competition.
The win for Agape High School over St. Augustine Episcopal Mission High School in the grandfinal of the Upper-Margibi County ISSA League marks the first major trophy since its establishment of the school to senior high level of recent.
Samuel Nalon along with Abel Killen are the joint highest goalscorer for the Champions with Johnathan Glaydor, alias “Messi” and Winston Sumo one Goal at each.
Agape High School conceded two goals so far and recorded six goals in all competition this season.
In another development, New Testament Baptist HighSchool of Grand Bassa County grab a ticket to the National Championship in the kickball version of the Region-2 after the Champions of Margibi County Booker Washington Institute failed to honor its fixture.
Agape High School will represent Margibi County in the football category while New Testament Baptist High School will represent Grand Bassa County in the Four Region National Championship to be stage in Montserrado County early August.
Speaking through an exclusive interview John T. Gaye lauded all of the technical staffs and players for the achievement thus far.
“I am so grateful to our proprietor and proprietress s Mr.& Mrs. Nepay for the overwhelming support to the boys,” said Gaye.

In addition, the young and vibrant school administrator Gaye said the school will have an appreciation program for the team in which players, technical staffs along with fans will be appreciated for such a unique achievement.
He said the program is schedule for Saturday, 6 August at the School Campus.
The Agape High School was founded on January 15, 2010 as an Elementary and Junior High School but the school’s owners saw the needs to provide quality education got elevated to full senior high this academic year.
Former Margibi County Police Commander Fredrick Nepay along with his wife Mrs. Florence B.S. Nepay serve as proprietor and proprietress for such noble institution.
The school enrollment for this academic year is over 350 students with over 22 staffs and support staffs.
