MONROVIA, Liberia- Moments after the release of Justin Olpa Yeazehn, alias “Prophet Key” from the Monrovia Central Prison on Gurley Street, South Beach Community upon completion of his Six Months jail sentence, Liberian award-winning international filmmaker and producer, Artus Frank has expressed frustration about some Liberians (mostly women) who turned out to celebrate the release of a man who publicly and proudly disrespected the cultural, traditions and women of Liberia.
The former Liberia Movies Union President and firm producer wrote on his official Facebook Page on August 14, 2026, has broken silence on the behavior of Prophet Key for the first time and also frowned on the actions by Liberians including media institution who gathered to provide courage whereas others celebrating him and saying:
“Our Prophet is back ” at the same time giving more visibility to an indication who disregarded the entire Liberian Culture, and according to him the action by those celebrating him is not painful but a reminder of a tendency of hailing people who hurt the society.
“Honestly, it breaks my heart that I even have to make this post. I also understand that using my platform and status to address it may give the situation and the person involved even more visibility. That was one of the reasons I chose to remain silent,” Artus Frank lamented
He said that the demonstration of Liberians jubllating ” Prophet Key’s ” release from prison after disrespecting women but those same people went and gathered to receive a man is a sign of appreciation to him but also an opposite of a tendency of the past that says ” you kill my ma, you kill my pa, I will vote for you, adding, with this, it is a cleared indicating that Liberians still celebrate people who hurt them.

Mr. Artus Frank pointed out that for many years, Prophet Key has used his public platform to insult and humiliate Liberian women, eminent citizens, religious and national leaders in and out of the country. Yet, after facing the penalty for his actions, people gathered mostly women stood in the rain at the Monrovia Prison Compound to welcome him as though he had returned from performing some great national service.
The Liberian Firms Producers questioned the actions of women who were mostly victims of ” Prophet Key “. humiliations to gathered and overwhelming welcome a man who disregarded womanhood.
But the international filmmaker said today, they are the same people in their numbers went to celebrate his release from behind bars which according to him and if care is not taking Liberians might become so accustomed to disrespect and accept humiliations as an entertainment.
