HARPER, Liberia- The President of the William V S Tubman University Dr. Elliot Wreh Wilson has Praised the Liberian Government, GIZ of the Germen Cooperation, World Bank Liberia and the Marylanders for Progress in the United States for their continue support to the University programs and students .
Tubman University is the only Government higher institution of Learning located in the Southeastern County of Maryland, 739 kilometers from Monrovia. It offers Bachelor Degree from its six functional and well staff Colleges.
According to the head of the University, President Dr. George Mannah Weah and his coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Government donated a 62-seater bus to Tubman University to be used for transportation and It was commissioned after a 2-week training workshop for drivers, mechanics and conductors in the management of the vehicle.
He told reporters in a special interview that GIZ donated six computers and accessories and 1500 BTU air conditioner for the computer lab under the TU-GIZ Research Capacity Building Project.
Dr. Wreh Wilson disclosed that Marylanders for Progress (a United States based organization), through Dr. James Elliott, donated a consignment of Mass-com equipment and material for Radio Phoenix (FM 102.7) and for the expansion of services to include online television.
He also disclosed during the interview that the World Bank Liberia office has promised to help the University establish two smart classrooms for the graduate program
“I must thanks all these institution for the high level of support towards this university,” the TU President said.

The President of the William V S Tubman University Professor, Dr. Wreh Wilson has meanwhile vowed to invest every funds that comes to the University, in order to make it better place for students who called the Campuses of the University a home and a place of quality and excellence .
Dr. Wilson said his administration will ensure that every dollar sent to this University will be used to development of Campus for students who called this Place a home.
’’Even though our budget is low but this administration will lobby with Partners ,Embassies and the Liberian Government make this place different, we will move this University to another level and continue advocacy for an increment for our annual budget,” said Dr. Wreh Wilson
The legal head of the Second State-run University lamented that his administration is committed to molding the minds of Liberians students with quality education.
