Liberian Gov’t Lawyers May Appeal The Sentence

Earlier in March, Prosecutors in Busan, South Korea pleaded with the court to give nine years imprisonment for two Liberian diplomats at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for allegedly sexually assaulting two underage Korean girls, now that request has been granted by the court.

Today, Wednesday, Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA) issued a press statement confirming that Messrs Moses Owen Brown, Liberia’s Representative to the IMO and Daniel Tarr have both been found guilty of sexual assault and sentenced to nine years in prison.
