In an interview with www.newspublictrust.com on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Rep. Domah called on the Liberian government to reconstruct this school.

According him, the current condition of the building housing the Bahn High School is poor and structure is damaged, describing it as a “death trap”.

“The walls are cracked, the foundations have been eroded by water and ceiling have all fallen to the ground,” the Nimba County District #7 Representative noted.

He informed this Reporter that that he has wrote the Budget Committee in the House of Representatives to allocate funds for the school during the 2018-2019 budget year, but no amount was allotted for the school during that budget year.

Issues surrounding the reconstruction of the school have been discussed with the Minister of Education but he is yet to get any positive response, said the Nimba County Lawmaker.

“I have discussed this school issues with the Minister but I have not heard from him since then. Probaly the project should have been done by a donar, but is like the funding has not come,”he lamented.

Meanwhile, the Nimba District #7 Representative has revealed that as the 4th session of the 54th national Legislature resumes, he will continue to proffer argument with his colleagues to make sure that Education, Health and Agriculture are prioritized.

“I am ready, as we resume work. I am going to push argument with my colleagues for us to make education, health and agriculture a priority,” Rep. Domah asserted.

He is a stalwart of the opposition Unity Party (UP), who was elected in 2017.
