Zogbo Town in Western Liberia under probe for Missing Child

Police in Tianee Grand Cape Mount County is probing people in Zogbo Town for the mysterious disappearance of a two years six months boy child identified as Momo Sabulla.

This town is situated in Tewor, one of the five districts in Cape Mount.

According to police source in this western Liberian County, the entire Zogbo Town residents including the town chief are all undergoing investigation as what led to the mysterious disappearance of the two years six months child. 

The police said the Child father Varney Sabulla, age 23 and others went to Zogbo Town for a feast, but the child has been staying with Varney Sabulla’s mother, because he and the child’s mother were separated.

When they went for the feast, the child stayed with his grandmother in a six-room house, which was occupied by five of those who had gone to attend the feast. 

It was reported that the child and his father was seen walking around in the town and the missing child felt asleep and he took the child in the mother’s room, where and the child slept together. But by about 3:30 am on Monday, the child couldn’t be found in the entire house.

When the grandmother of the child inquired about the child’s whereabouts, his father, Varney Sabulla told his mother “don’t ask me. I brought the boy back.”

But his mother responded by saying, when he was taking the child she was aware, but when he brought him, she was not aware.

Meanwhile, the father of the missing child, Varney Sabulla is currently behind ibar in Tianee, Grand Cape Mount County, while the others are undergoing investigation by the Liberia Nation Police (LNP). Report by Garmah Never Lomo,garmahlomo@gmail.com
