SANNIQUELLIE, Liberia-A non-profit organization Zor Development Association (ZDA) has concluded the distribution of over L$80,000.00 worth of drugs to two clinics in Zor Chiefdom Gbehlay-Geh District in the northeastern Nimba County.
Making the presentation at weekend at the Zorgowee and Goagortuo Clinics, Abraham Kamara the Zor Organization Executive Director said ZDA is an organization organized in the 90s and sponsored by sons and daughters of the chiefdom. Its aim is developing and contributing to development and emergency situations that may arise in the Zor Chiefdom.
He added that giving back to the people of Zor is the primary concerns, objective and goal of Zor Development Association.
For his part, the Program Manager of Zor ZDA Edwin Kordon assured the people of the Zor Chiefdom that the Zor Organization remains committed in supporting every developmental initiative embark on by community dwellers within Zor Chiefdom.
Kordon also wants his people to take advantage of the organization community Agriculture program been implemented in seven of the eighteen communities in Zor Gbehlay-Geh Administrative District.
The organization Program Manager indicated that the ZDA agriculture program continuous to augment the financial strength of the organization.
Receiving the drugs donation, the Officers-In-Charge of Zorgowee and Goagortuo Clincs, Suah Vakparah and Marie Barseah expressed appreciation ZDA for the donation.
They said the donation came at the right time, adding that the both clinics are in the dying need of medicine to cater to their patients in the chiefdom.
Albert Korden and Alison Lunpea, Zor Clan and Lan-Kar Chiefs lauded the Zor Chiefdom organization for the gesture.
However, Chiefs Korden and Lunpea have promised to institute all security measures for the drugs in order to be used for its intended purpose.
