-River Gee County Lawmaker’s vehicle involved
A report from Tomato Camp in lower Bong County says pickup belonging to district three lawmaker of River Gee County Francis Duopo was involved in a tragic motor accident, killing five of his family members.
According to the report, the family members of RiverGee county lawmaker were heading from Monrovia to River Gee County for the burial of their father and driver of the pickup is son of Representative Francis Duopo Sister.
Tomato Camp is situated between Bong and Nimba Counties,some 197 kilometers from Monrovia.
The report said the driver of the pickup was on excessive speed and ran into a parked container truck near the road, with five persons including a female dying on the scene while two persons are on critical list to the Phoebe hospital in Bong County.
The pickup involved in the tragic crash is currently at the Salala police station, as the driver is being r further investigation.
Meanwhile, citizens of River Gee county are all mourning for the sad incident that has occurred but the lawmaker is yet to speak on the misfortune incident. Report by Garmah Never Lomo
