At an elaborate birthday celebration held at the Restoration Baptist Church in the Sinkor Old Road suburb of Monrovia recently, Bishop Joseph Johnson, III called on all including the religious community to be consistent in all that they do no matter the circumstances they face.
“In a world filled with uncertainties, maintaining consistency in leadership is essential for progress and hope,” Bishop Johnson encouraged all leaders to strive for consistency in their actions, decisions, and values.
Many well-meaning Liberians both at home and abroad came together to celebrate the 60th birthday Anniversary of Bishop Joseph Johnson III who is the head of the Restoration Baptist Church on the Old Road.
The ceremony was held on April 29,2024 on the compound of the Restoration Baptist Church well decorated with flowers and color of the ceremony were gold and black.
Bishop Johnson is an astute statesman, humanitarian and a tough talking Minister of the Gospel with distinction.
Prior to giving his birthday speech, Bishop Johnson displayed two different types of plum namely German and country plums.
Bishop Johnson disclosed that many times people go after the German plum because it has foreign name and so it’s the case of Liberian citizens who prefer foreigners over their own citizens. On the other hand, Bishop Johnson said, most people don’t go after the country plum because it’s their own and disappointing, it’s hated because of its thread that hitch in people tooth. He called on Liberians to love their own over foreigners.
The special ceremony was well attended by Church members, government officials, religious leaders, family members, the media, and friends. The former Vice President of Liberia, Madam Jewel Howard Taylor, delivered the welcome statement at the Restoration Baptist Church compound.
During the vibrant program, Bishop Joseph Johnson III, who was celebrating his 60th birthday, received numerous gifts and well-wishes from those in attendance. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who came to celebrate with him.
“I am thankful for the wonderful birthday wishes. Your love and support bring me immense joy and I feel truly blessed to have all of you in my life.

Bishop Johnson said, most pastors after enriching themselves and pay less attention to the development and wellbeing of their members.
This commitment will ensure accountability, reliability, and dedication to the people they lead. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made his birthday celebration memorable, emphasizing that their presence meant the world to him.
However, Bishop Johnson vowed not to attend any pastoral meetings if said meeting doesn’t have plan for the wellbeing of Liberian citizens.
He added that Liberia is blessed with natural resources,but its citizens are living in abject poverty and being treated as salve.
“People who should recuse Liberia twelve years ago are now talking about recusing Liberia,“ the tough-talking man of God lamented.
