Emily College Officially Launches TVET Program This Thursday

The Emily College in Brewerville is expected to formally launch its TVET program tomorrow, April 10, 2025 on the College Jawaiyeh Campus in the Kpo River area, outside Monrovia.

The program which, is expected to begin at 11am prompt in Brewerville City, is also expected to be graced by few government’s officials including the River Gee County Senator Francis Dopoh, Assistant Youth Sports Minister for TVET Education, Mr. Collins Tamba etc.

According to the College Acting Vice President for Administration, Mr. Dioh Isaiah Dweh, students will be afforded the opportunity to showcase their professional talents during the Launch in order to attract potential students into the program.

The Emily College of TVET and Professional Studies was established in 2022 to serve as a platform to promote TVET in western Liberia.  Its programs are primarily designed to provide students with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge across various fields including Cosmetology, General Construction, Plumbing, Interior Decoration, Home Arts, Electricity, Driving, Computer Science, Tailoring, Fashion, Satellite Installation, Auto Mechanics etc.    The Professional School provides training in the areas of IT, Public Health, Accounting, Sociology, Economics, Management, Teacher Education, etc.

He noted that graduates from Emily TVET program are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in today’s competitive job market.
