Woods System Of Care Appoints Global Ambassador For Mollie Woods Hare Global Center Of Excellence

Meadville, PA-Woods System of Care, a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, neurodivergence, and mental health conditions, has officially appointed Mr. Jomah B. Samuels as new Global Ambassador for the Mollie Woods Hare Global Center of Excellence.

Established by Woods System of Care (www.woods.org), the Center is a groundbreaking international initiative dedicated to advancing healthcare, education, research, and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, neurodivergence, and mental health conditions.

The Center serves as a global platform, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, policymakers, and advocacy organizations worldwide.

In this pivotal role, the Global Ambassador is tasked with expanding the Center’s global impact and visibility.

Responsibilities include representing the Center’s mission at international conferences, policy forums, and global engagements; building strategic partnerships with governments, universities, healthcare institutions, NGOs, and international organizations; and promoting advocacy and awareness for equitable healthcare.

In has new role, ambassador Samuels will also support fundraising and resource mobilization efforts, strengthen research and knowledge sharing, and advance global collaborations. Additionally, the role involves leading efforts to strengthen relationships with policymakers, supporting community outreach and training initiatives, reducing healthcare disparities, and improving access to quality services for individuals and families around the world.

 

The newly appointed Global Ambassador will also head the International Friends and Family Workers Program, overseeing the successful implementation of its Employment-Based (EB-3) Green Card recruitment initiative. This program aims to attract talented individuals from across the globe to work within the Woods System of Care, further enriching the organization’s diverse and skilled workforce.
