Police in Liberia’s western Bomi County have launched a massive search for killer(s) of a 3 and half years old girl who was recently killed and discovered with several body parts extracted.

The child was gruesomely murdered at Nyalowahun Town in Dewoin district, probably for ritualistic purpose

When the lifeless body of the girl was discovered, her eyes, left lower leg and private part as well as rectum were extracted.

According to an 8-year-old eyewitness, who was playing with the child at the back of their house, an unidentified man first called him for candy but he refused. But the man managed to convince the victim to go for candy behind the palm tree.

The eyewitness narrated that he held the victim’s hand, but the victim bit his hand and ran to the unidentified man, who later took her away.

When the deceased girl’s grandmother returned hom from the market, she asked her neighbor, whom she told to look after her granddaughter prior going to the market, but her neighbor said that the two children were playing behind the house.

However, the little girl was nowhere to be found.

It was only after several days that her corpse was discovered in a nearby town, appearing to have been burned.

Ritualistic killing normal can be on the rise during election nearing period.

Meanwhile, citizens of Liberia hailing from Bomi County and living in the United States have condemned the gruesome murder of the girl and are demanding Justice for the 3-year old victim.
