‎Monrovia, Liberia — Montserrado County District #12 Representative, Jerry K. Yogboh has officially dedicated the Riverview Community Town Hall, a state-of-the-art facility valued at about LD$2.5 million.

Dedicating the project over the weekend, Rep. Yogboh said it marks a significant milestone in his commitment to improving infrastructure and service delivery in the district.‎

‎The dedication ceremony drew a large turnout of community leaders, elders, youth groups, women’s associations, and supporters, all eager to witness the unveiling of a project that promises to strengthen civic engagement and community development.‎

‎In his remarks, Representative Yogboh reiterated his determination to fulfill every promise he made to his constituents during the 2023 campaign.

He emphasized that the town hall, fully funded from his personal resources, is a tangible demonstration of his dedication to the people he serves.‎

‎“This is more than a building. It is a symbol of hope, unity, and progress for the Riverview Community,” Rep. Yogboh stated. “I am committed to ensuring that everything I promised during the campaign will be delivered before 2027. This town hall is just the beginning.”‎

‎According to the lawmaker, the facility is designed to serve as a hub for community engagement, providing residents with a permanent venue for town meetings, public consultations, dispute resolution and civic education programs.‎

‎ It will also host youth and women’s initiatives, health awareness campaigns, and other activities that promote social cohesion and community empowerment.‎

‎Community Chairman Miller who spoke at the event praised Representative Yogboh for his visionary leadership and for prioritizing the welfare of the people over political rhetoric. Many described the project as a model for accountable leadership, noting that it reflects a deep understanding of the importance of infrastructure in fostering development.‎

‎“We are grateful to Representative Yogboh for this remarkable investment in our community,” said a local elder. “This town hall will not only bring us together but will also create opportunities for dialogue, growth, and collaboration within Riverview.”‎

‎The new town hall is expected to transform how the community engages with its leadership, providing a centralized location for dialogue, planning, and the implementation of development initiatives. It signals a new era of responsive leadership in District 12, where elected officials are held accountable and residents have access to platforms that allow their voices to be heard.‎

‎As Representative Yogboh continues his first term in the House of Representatives, the Riverview Community Town Hall stands as a testament to his commitment to delivering tangible results, reinforcing the principle that effective leadership is measured by action and not words.‎

‎With this project, District #12 residents now have a facility that not only meets immediate social needs but also sets the stage for future development projects that will uplift the entire community.
