Liberia Records 12 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Just 24 Hours

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus/COVID-19 has sharply increased in the last 24 hours, but the death toll remains at eight.

By yesterday, Wednesday, April 23, 2020, COVID-19 Update released by the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) put the number of confirmed cases at 105. But the latest stats released on Thursday afternoon shows that the number has jumped to 117 confirmed cases.

The number of people recovering from the killer virus has increased from 20 to 25.

But Health authorities say more and more health workers are being infected by the Coronavirus, as the number contact of the active cases being followed in various counties are 534 so far.
