TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia– Police in Monrovia has arrested, investigated, charged and sent to court a 32-year-old woman for allegedly chopping the finger of a little girl, age 10, as Garmah Never Lomo reports.
According to the police charge sheet, the alleged act of defendant Eve Wamah is a violation of Chapter 14, sub-chapter 8, section 14.20 of the criminal law. Defendant Eve Wamah was arrested, acquainted with her Miranda Rights and investigated for that she did on September 2, 2025 in Johnny by cutting her right pointing finger which she purposely and knowingly causes serious bodily injury to victim Georgina Favor.
During investigation, the following were established:
That victim Georgina Favor Johnny was given to defendant Eve Wamah in July 2024 by victim Georgina Favor Johnny father Philip Johnny in order for suspect Eve Wamah to provide care and support for
That defendant Eve Wamah served as guardian for victim Georgina Favor Johnny from July 2024 up to the date of the incident September 2, 2025
That defendant Eve Wamah has refused to send victim Georgina Favor Johnny to school since Georgina Favor Johnny been with her from July 2024 up to September 2, 2025.
That defendant Eve Wamah has been using victim Georgina Favor Johnny to do the house chores (washing dishes and fetching water) during her stay with suspect Eve Wamah
That on September 2, 2025 defendant Eve Wamah gave her nine (9) months old baby to victim Georgina Favor Johnny to hold and while she was holding the baby in the process, the baby head hit on the wall and the baby started to cry.
That due to the cry of the baby, defendant Eve Wamah came out of her room and cut her right pointing finger got cut carried victim Georgina Favor Johnny in her room and hit her right hand with a bench
That defendant Eve Wamah knowingly and intentionally causes serious bodily injury to victim Georgina Favor Johnny by inflicting a cut on her right pointing finger. by violating a legal duty of care, protection and support. That defendant Eve Wamah knowingly endangers victim Georgina Favor Johnny welfare.
Based on the facts and circumstances established during this investigation, the Investigator has resolved to charge defendant Eve Wamah with the commissioned of the crimes AGGRAVATED ASSAULT in violation of Chapter 14, sub chapter 8, Section 14.20 and ENDANGERING THE trial by Court of competent jurisdiction. WELFARE OF THE CHILD in violation Chapter 16, Section 16-4 of the Penal Law of Liberia, pending
Court’s Disposition.
