Finance Min. Ngafuan Speaks Of Ongoing Reforms And Critical Infrastructure Needs

Finance and Development Planning Minister Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan has highlighted Liberia’s expanding investment opportunities, improving economic fundamentals, ongoing reforms, and critical infrastructure needs as the country seeks to attract increased investment.
Speaking Monday at a high-level Liberia Investment Roundtable in New York, Minister Ngafuan presented Liberia as an increasingly attractive destination for investors, citing the country’s political stability, economic growth, reform efforts, and significant untapped potential across key sectors.
He said Liberia is stable, growing, reforming, and open for serious business, urging investors and other participants to explore opportunities in the country.
Ngafuan emphasized that increased private-sector investment could play an important role in supporting Liberia’s economic transformation and addressing critical development and infrastructure needs.
The Finance Minister encouraged potential investors to view Liberia not only as a market with untapped opportunities but also as a potential partner in the country’s ongoing economic development efforts.
The New York investment roundtable formed part of efforts to showcase Liberia’s investment potential and engage international investors on opportunities available across various sectors of the Liberian economy.
