“I have locked Voice of Pleebo radio station because the management of the radio station refused to accept or work with the board that I have appointed recently to control the affairs of the radio station on a daily basis”.

For his part, Voice of Pleebo Manager, Michael Wroh told a local media outlet, GNN that the management has said nothing against or negative that might show as a disrespected to the city authority.

“I am the Manager of Voice of Pleebo 93.5fM and my staffers were asked by the City Authority to stop two Programs ” Talk With Anthony Williams and The Gospel Hour” from running on the radio”.

Mr. Wroye disclosed that Voice of Pleebo radio has never being supported by the County Authority since the Weah led government.

“Since this city Authority took over, the community radio station has not received any support from the City Cooperation. I am using this opportunity to call on the Press Union of Liberia and civil society organizations to props into the issue.
