Nigerian Pastor Under Police Investigation In Kakata For Alleged Rape And For Facilitating Abortion

KAKATA, MARGIBI COUNTY, Liberia- Pastor Ernest Ihejiemeounu, a Nigerian pastor and Geography teacher at Lango Lippaye School, is accused of impregnating a 17-year-old congregant.

He allegedly provided LRD 12,000 to facilitate an abortion after the teenager fell ill and disclosed the pregnancy to her parents.

According to family members, this is the second alleged abortion linked to the pastor involving the same victim.

Evidence gathered

An audio recording, obtained by *The Liberian Investigator*, features the teen alleging Ihejiemeounu took her virginity and pressured her into secrecy. Police have not yet verified the recording’s authenticity.

Background & Previous Controversies

The pastor has been previously associated with multiple allegations, including:

* Bigamy

* – Suspected involvement in illicit drug activities

* Sexual exploitation of students

* Soliciting money or sex in exchange for grades

Reports also indicate a relationship with a student contributed to the recent dissolution of his marriage.

The Police here have confirmed an ongoing investigation and stated that further details will be provided as the case progresses.
