No Let-up In Liberia’s COVID-19 Infections, 35 New Cases @ The Weekend

Thirty-five new confirmed Coronavirus cases have been recorded in Liberia by the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) this weekend.

Deaths from the deadly virus have now gone up to 47, after five new deaths were recorded in two days—from July 8-10, 2020.

The July 10, 2020 COVID-19 Update however says there is no new death, while 20 new recoveries have been reported as of 10:00 PM, July 10.

More deaths are now occurring in Health facilities and the killer virus has now spread to almost all of Liberia’s 15 counties.

The number of confirmed cases has gone up to 998, as of July 10.

In the wake of the sharp decline in the level of adherence to basic health protocols by the Liberian public.

A limited number of people are seen wearing face/nose mask in public places, as hands washing has largely faded into oblivion in most communities.
