MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court “C” has announced Tuesday, July 21, as the date to release the investigative report on allegations of jurors’ tampering or misconduct in the 6.2 million U.S dollars corruption case involving former Finance Minister Samuel Tweah and four others.
Judge Ousman Feika’s pronouncement was through a Notice of Assignment to the parties’ lawyers, citing them to appear on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, to receive the Court’s findings.
Judge Feika’s pending report, according to ELBC Judicial Reporter, was triggered by complaints from three of the twelve-man Penal Jurors, saying some of their colleagues were involved with jury tampering or misconduct by taking phone calls in their sequestrate quarter.
The three jurors’ account to the court came a few days after defendants Samuel Tweah and Moses Cooper were acquitted of stealing the 6.2 million dollars, but the other defendants were adjudged guilty of stealing the amount in question.
