PUL Mourns Death Of Veteran Liberian Journalist Buxton Davies

Monrovia The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Journalist Buxton Davies, affectionately known as “38”, a press release said on Monday, October 15, 2023.

The Union received the heartbreaking news on Sunday, October 15, 2023, regarding the demise of this legendary journalist in Central Monrovia, his place of residence. PUL mourns the loss of “38” and acknowledges his invaluable contributions to the field of journalism in Liberia. The late Journalist Buxton Davies’ remains are currently entrusted to the care of the Anderson Funeral Parlors.

In a formal statement, the PUL extends its sincere condolences to the grieving families and the entire journalism community. “Thirty Eight” had a distinguished career, having previously worked with Radio Liberia, Kiss FM, Informer Newspaper, and served as the Managing Editor at New Era Newspaper.
