MONROVIA, Liberia — In what many observers describe as a strategic move to attract international support for Grand Kru County, Numene T. H. Bartekwa has facilitated the visit of Legacy Hands of Hope, a United States–based humanitarian organization committed to advancing education and healthcare.

The visit followed an invitation from Sen. Bartekwa aimed at identifying areas of urgent need in Grand Kru County and the University of Liberia.

Due to engagements across several African countries, the delegation made a brief stop at the University of Liberia, where they assessed the University Clinic and donated essential medical supplies.

Sen.  Bartekwa described the engagement as “a productive first step” toward attracting sustainable development partnerships for Grand Kru.

“This collaboration demonstrates that when we build the right connections, development opportunities follow,” the Senator stated. “Our people deserve quality healthcare and educational support, and I will continue working to secure such partnerships.”

The organization pledged to return for a comprehensive assessment of Grand Kru County, raising hopes of broader interventions in the near future.
