SPORT: Old Timers Football Comes Alive In Liberia

KAKATA, Liberia- In continuation of championship in the 2020/2021 Liberia Old timers National Association (LONA) 2020/2021 league season, Kakata Old Timers Sports Association (KOTSA) grab another win in Round 6 of the LONA League season.

Round six matches continue continued across three venues last Sunday, December 20, 2020, with 13 matches played.

At the Alpha Old timers field in Zubah town,Kakata Old timers Sports Association (KOTSA) won a narrow 2-1 win over Omega Old timers in game two while host Stephen Tolbert Old Timers settled to a 3-3 draw with Chocolate City Old timers.

Bill McGill and Olson Saydee goals KOTSA all three points to moved them up to 11th place of the league table with 10 points.

Alpha Old timers returned to winning spree after a 1-1 draw with POSA on December 13, 2020 at the Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata,Margibi County of Round 5 matches.

Alpha Old timers have the likes of Maritime Boss,Lenn Eugene Nagbe(captain), Danacious Sebwe,Oliver Makor, Cyrus Miller, Alexander Dargbe,Trokon Kpui all part of the starting XI.

Former national football team maestro midfielde,r Kelvin Sebwe scored twice with Perry Kollie double and machine man Oliver Makor brace gives Alpha Old timers a comfortable 5-0 win over Bong Mines Old timers of  Bong County District # 7 lawmaker Papa Kolleh.
