Football action returns to the domestic scene this week, after many days of rest to national engagement.

It was not just another game, but another hattrick for Momo Blamo. It was his latest hattrick that gave his team 4-1 victory over Jubilee FC at the SKD Practice Pitch in Paynesville on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

And with still much time to signal the final whistle the visitor sure more eagerness for another goal as Momo Blamo got on the score sheet for the third time in the match to register a hattrick to give his team, Shaita FC the convincing 4-1 away win over Jubilee FC.

Blamo’s hattrick in his team 4-1 win over Jubilee FC marks his first hattrick away since the start of the new season while on the other hand marks his third in the league for the Orange National League-2nd Division 2022/2023 MVP and Golden Boot winner Momo Blamo.

He set a record previously by becoming the first player to score a hattrick in the 2023/0224 Orange National League-2nd Division League Season.

His first hattrick was at the George Weah Technical Center in Careburgs in his team 3-1 victory over PAGS FC on 10 September in the team’s opening fixture of the new league season.

Blamo hattrick against Jubilee marks his first since he scooped the double accolades at the 2022/2023 LFA Awards Ceremony held on 14 October at the Ellen Johnson Sirlea Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.

He’s now the League’s top joint goal scorer, with Theo Williams of Gardnersville FC with both of them having 12 goals each thus far.

MVP and Golden Boot winner Blamo becomes the first player from his club this season to register three hattricks. Moreover, he is the club highest goal scorer with 12 league goals in 9 league appearances.

Blamo missed 1 league game dued to suspension at home where he was shown a second yellow card against Discoveries S. A on.

In 9 League matches, Blamo already has 12 goals as he looks like a runaway favorite to win the golden boot this season an award he is hoping to retain.

Blamo is looking to surpassed his 29 goals record scores in the previous season in his debut season which saw him been a prominent figure on the domestic scene of Liberian football.

Henry Korfeh goal and Momo Blamo’s hattrick for Shiata FC over Jubilee FC mantain the club a top spot on the league table with a 3 points lead ahead of Sinoe NPA Anchors who moves to second place after match day 10 due to a comfortably 3-1 away win over Nimba FC at the George Weah Technical Center in Careburgs.

Elsewhere, it was an emotional scene at the ATS on the UN Drive when Carter Barkolleh wore the arm band of Gardnersville FC as a tradition by the club against his former employer Margibi FC.

The versatile player Barkolleh was also able to get on the score sheet for club in his team 3-1 home win over Margibi FC.

His goal against his former employer, Margibi FC marks his first for Gardnersville FC in all competition since his mouth watering move to the Gardnersville club, Gardnersville FC.
