Thanks To Christopher Jackson’s Hat-trick And Daniel Toe’s Lone Goal

Liberia’s Champions LISCR FC has put its international woes behind them and have given spectators and fans some reason to smile.

The Shipping Boys of LISCR FC have clinched the first sliverware trophy for the upcoming 2023-2024 Orange National League Season.

It was a great comeback for the double 2022-2023 Champions and Knockout Champions after youngster Emmanuel Sieh got the opener for Watanga FC in the 30th minute of the first half but it was LISCR FC marksman Christopher Jackson got the equalizer in the 40th minute before the halftime break as both teams played to a one-all draw at halftime.

Back from recess Watanga FC wonder kid Emmanuel Sieh was substituted after registering his first goal for his new club, due to injury in the late minutes to end the first half.

With much ball possession from Watanga FC after a blunder from the back four of Watanga FC in the first half that saw LISCR FC getting the equalizer the Paynesville outfit club Watanga FC missed several chances in the early minutes of the second half, which saw Christopher Jackson completing a brace in the 64th minute to give LISCR FC a 2-1 lead over Watanga FC through again another blunder from the defense of Watanga FC.

Still with much interesting soccer displayed Christopher Jackson registering a hat-trick in the 77th minute to give LISCR FC a comfortable 3-1 lead over Watanga FC.

Adam Kongoiah registering his name on the score sheet in the 84th minute, after been introduced for Watanga FC to reduce the score to 3-2 after Chirstopher Jackson has been substituted for Mark Karlay.

Kongoiah goal marks his first goal for Watanga FC since joining the Orange National League-1st Division outfit club.

And with much eagerness from Watanga FC to get an equalizer after Kongoiah consolidation goal in the second half Daniel Toe puts his name on the score sheet during the 7 minutes of added time in the match with his goal coming in the 90+ 2 minutes to give LISCR FC a convincing 4-2 win over Watanga FC on Sunday, 4 September at the ATS on the UN Drive.

It was Christopher Jackson’s hat-trick and Daniel Toe’s lone goal after Watanga FC through Emmanuel Sieh in the first half handed LISCR FC the first domestic silverware of the upcoming new season which kickstart on Wednesday, 6 September 2023.

The win over Watanga FC on Sunday, September 3, 2023 earned LISCR FC a back-to-back LFA Super Cup and marks the second defeat in a row to Watanga FC in such competition final at the same venue.

In another development, Determine Girls FC wins back- to- back Super Cup as the Liberia’s Champions Determine Girls FC won a narrow 2-1 win over Shaita Angels FC in the women’s category of the LFA Super Cup on Sunday, 4 September at the ATS on the UN Drive.

Mabintu Camera and Mabssey Draboe first half goals secured a back-to-back LFA Super Cup championship for Determine Girls FC while Cynthia Weah got the lone goal for Shaita Angels FC.
