Speaking during the closing ceremony of the 2022/2023 League Season at the Tusa Field in Gardnerville, the Chairman along with his Co-Workers used the occasion to caution the young footballers to remain focused and continue to push for higher achievements in their soccer careers, and the President of the Republic of Liberia, George Manneh Weah Soccer records should be used as a pathway to success in football.

The Clado Subcommittee Chairman admonished the young soccer athletes to see President Weah as a good example while pursuing becoming a great footballer in the world.

But he said this will only be achieved if the current generation of soccer athletes will always remain focused despite the many unfolding challenges that might come along the way as they are preparing to represent the subcommittee as champions in the upcoming Montserrado Playoff.

“I urge you at this moment to go back to your training room to train harder ahead of the upcoming playoff. The Montserrado Playoff will be very intensive and that consists of 26 teams who are representing 13 subcommittees just to get 3 slots in the 2nd Division League.”

“I want to call on the technical staff of Young Adidas to prepare our team adequately to face a greater challenge. Let us make a difference in the play-off, and we are looking up to you to achieve that,” Chairman Jackson mentioned.

At the same time, he applauds Young Adidas Football Club for being unbeaten since last season while in the Community League and gaining promotion to the 3rd Division League, adding that this is a great achievement for the club. Out of 8 teams, the club emerged as the winners from 14 games with no defeat.

The Chairman of Clara Town and Doe Community Sub-committee (Clado)  added that in the wisdom of LFA, it has today decided to provide medals for only the first place or winner in the men’s 3rd Division League. Noting that this decision should ring in the minds of young players to always fight for the first spot at all times. They should not consider themselves as participants but rather competitors.

“As you are preparing to present the subcommittee, we hope that what all you demonstrated here, will certainly go beyond our expectations. Go with the mindset to be first and clinch the championship. You are going to represent Clado-Subcommittee, and you have to do your best as you did during the league”. Chairman Jackson said.

For his part, the assistant coach of Young Adidas, Prince M. Jimmy used the occasion to extend a special thanks to his boss, Williams Franciah commonly known as Coach Mama who is the head coach of the club for a job well done for winning two consecutive trophies in the period of two seasons.

Being an assistant coach under Mama comes with lots of knowledge. And he said today he is very proud to be privileged to work with a great coach, but unfortunately, he is not around for the closing ceremony.

“I am very much excited today that my team has been crowned as champions from 14 League games with no defeat. It is a milestone for me and my boss. We did it during the Community League and today is repeating in different competition”. Adidas Assistant Coach mentioned.
