As the saying goes, “the rejected stone will always be the cornerstone.” Such is the case of District #1 in Margibi County, whose football team has advanced to the grand finale of the 2025 Margibi County Inter-Electoral District League.
Their advance to the final is said to have come despite receiving no financial or moral support from their lawmaker, Oppeh Cooper, since the start of the tournament.
Although Representative Cooper recently informed the House of Representatives of his absence from session due to health reasons, all efforts to reach him before, during, and after the matches have been unsuccessful.
