Shaita FC’s “Prince of Goals”, Momo Blamo has again gone on the score sheet netting another goal to give his team a convincing win at home against Nimba FC, bagging his 23rd goal in the Orange 2nd Division National League.

The Careysburg-based club sealed a 2-0 win over Nimba FC on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the George Weah Technical Center in Careysburgs on the outskirts of the Liberian capital, Monrovia.

MVP and Golden Boot Winner Momo Blamo got on the score sheet in the first half of the match which football lovers and sympathizer praised as the best goal so far in the competition since the start of the League Season.

Blamo beautiful goal from 38 yards in his opponent half give Shaita FC a 1-0 halftime win against Nimba FC.

Back from the break Osuman Kamara scores for the first time in the match to give his side a convincing 2-0 win over Nimba FC at home. The 2-0 win for Shaita FC against Nimba FC keeps the hope alive for the competition championship or promotion to the top-tier league of domestic football the Orange National League-1st Division.

Blamo lone goal in Shaita FC 2-0 win against Nimba FC on 24 March marks his second against Nimba FC in the competition.

He registered a goal in Shaita FC 2-0 defeat to Nimba FC on October 15, 2023 at the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Monrovia’s Gardnerville suburb during the first phase of the competition.

In addition, the lone goal at home over the weekend against Nimba FC marks his 23rd goal of the season in the competition for the Prince of Goals of Careysburgs outfit club Shaita FC .

The Orange National League-2nd Division MVP and Golden Boot Blamo has been in regular scorer for club at home in recent fixtures.

Blamo marks his first goal against Margibi FC on 15 March as his team won the nearest neighbor Margibi FC 3-0 and a brace in his side 2-1 against Philadelphia Lone Star on 24 February.

And Blamo got on the score sheet on 17 February against Jubilee FC where his side defeated Jubilee FC 3-0

Blamo goal against Nimba FC on Sunday,24 March at the George Weah Technical Center in Careburgs makes him the first player of Shaita FC to score  in all 4 matches in a row at home since the campaign.

In total in his last 4 matches at the George Weah Technical Center in Careburgs he has recorded 4 goals in 4 appearances at home.

In the competition, Blamo has recorded 24 goals , scoring 23 in the league and 1 in the Orange Cup.

Blamo lone goal in the Orange Cup was on 7 February at the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnerville where LISCR FC defeated Shaita FC 3-1 where his team ended the match with 10- men.

Shaita FC sits second on the league table with 54 points from 24 games.

As it stands Black Man Warrior sits first place on the league table with 58pts four points ahead of Shaita FC.

In other results from round of matches in the Orange National League-2nd Division on 23 March from the ATS on the UN Drive Philadelphia Lone Star defeated Wologisi FC 3-2 in an away fixture, while from the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnerville LIFE FC forfeited points to PAGS FC.

And from the SKD PP in Payenesville Black Man Warrior continues the winning spree as the League leader defeated Samira FC in an away fixture.

On Sunday, 24 March Gardnerville FC defeated Nimba United 3-0 at the North Star Sports Pitch in Mt. Barclay while at the SKD PP in Payenesville Jubilee FC defeated Sinoe NPA Anchors 1-0.

And in other results, on Sunday, 24 March Shaita FC 2-0 Nimba FC, while from the Floyd Tomah Stadium in Sannniquelle, Nimba County hosted Mighty Enforce FC suffers to a 1-0 defeat to Discoveries S.A.

Blamo’s Shaita FC next fixture is against LIFE FC at home at a later date this week.
