The SKD Playing Pitch in Paynesville witnessed another classical showpiece in the ongoing Orange National League-1st Division 2022-2023 League Season, with Paynesville Pride MUSCAT FC whipping the “Kanyan Pepper “Boys of Mighty Barrolle.
Muscat came from behind to beat Mighty Barrolle 2-1 at the SKD PP in Paynesville on Thursday, 6 October of Round. The Red and White boys took an early lead through it team skipper Varney Dukuly from the penalty spot with just minutes after the Rollers took the lead MUSCAT replied from the penalty spot too through youngster Emmanuel Gono, after center referee Hassan Corneh blew for a penalty the second of the entire match.
Back from recess after a goalless draw MUSCAT FC had better possession of the ball due to good communication and coordination from the midfield but failed to get on the score sheet due to good defending from the back four of Mighty Barrolle.
With still much time to end the match the Roller had something to prove in front of its club president Alex Tyler who was among those in attendance at the SKD pitch. But with not getting a goal on target in the second half the home team got another goal through Darlington Suwo with an assist from Emmanuel Gono to give the home team a narrow 2-1 win over Mighty Barrolle.
The win for MUSCAT FC marks the second win in the top-tier league of Liberia.

Emmanuel Gono has now registered three goals for club since his return from a season loan deal to Margibi FC formerly Mighty Blue Angels FC while it was Darlington Suwo first goal since the start of the new season.
MUSCAT FC becomes the only newcomer to win 2 games thus far. Cece United Football Academy and Jubilee FC winning one each.
MUSCAT FC will knock horn with former back-to-back champions LPRC Oilers on Wednesday, 12 October at the ATS with kickoff time at 6:00PM.
In another results, Darius Mcgee second half goal secured three points for Bea Mountain FC on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the ATS in Central Monrovia.
The Grand Cape Mount County outfit club FC Bea Mountain pinned Nimba Kwado 1 -0. The win moves the club on top of the league table.
The league will continue during the weekend. On Friday, 8 October at the ATS in Central Monrovia Cece United Football Academy welcome the Oil Boys of LPRC Oilers 3:30Pm.

In Kakata, Margibi County at the open-air Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium on Sunday, 9 October, Sandi FC will play host to Invincible Eleven (I.E), while at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch in Gardnerville LISCR FC will rub shoulder with Freeport FC at 5:00PM.
