SPORTS: Surprise KC At The Top Of Margibi 2nd Division League Table

Surprise KC has moved to the top of the league table in the Liberia Kickball Federation Margibi Sub-Association Second Division League following an impressive weekend performance.

The Kakata-based club secured a hard-fought 4-3 victory over defending champions Fuamah Girls KC on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Nancy B. Sports Stadium in Kakata.

The victory earned Surprise KC all three points and lifted the team to first place on the league table. The club has now played six matches, winning five and losing one, for a total of 15 points.

Prior to Saturday’s match, Surprise KC sat in second place with 12 points, level with Fuamah Girls KC, who occupied the top spot.

At the same venue, Kamara KC recorded its first win of the season with a convincing 4-1 triumph over Vision Sisters KC in game two.

Earlier in game one, United Angles KC secured a narrow 1-0 away victory against God’s Favor KC.

Sunday Fixtures and Results

League action continued on Sunday, May 10, at the 14th Road Sports Pitch in Kakata.

In the opening match, Dream Girls KC suffered a 2-1 home defeat to United Angles KC.

In game two, Vision Sisters KC and God’s Favor KC played to a 1-1 draw.

In the day’s final fixture, defending champions Fuamah Girls KC and Future Girls KC settled for a scoreless draw.

With the weekend’s results, United Angles KC remains the only club to record back-to-back victories during the round of matches.

The two consecutive wins moved United Angles KC into second place on the table with 14 points from seven matches, having recorded four wins, two draws, and one defeat.

The first phase of the league is expected to conclude on a date to be announced soon by the Sub-Association.
