Former top-tier club and Margibi County champions, United Angles KC, suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday, May 2, in the ongoing 2025–2026 Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF) Margibi Sub-Association second division league.

The Kakata-based side fell to a narrow 2–1 loss against reigning champions Fuamah Girls KC at the Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium. The result marks United Angles KC’s first setback since returning to second-division competition this season.

Fuamah Girls KC’s victory lifts them to second place on the league table, securing their third win in four matches as they continue their title defense.

They now have 9 points, having recorded three wins and one defeat.

Meanwhile, the loss drops United Angles KC from third to fifth place in the standings.

Other Results (May 2):

God’s Favor KC defeated Mighty Power KC 5–3

Future Girls KC beat Kamara KC 4–0

Surprise KC overcame Vision Sisters KC 3–0 to maintain top spot on the table.

The league continued on Sunday, May 3, at the same venue.

A win for Fuamah Girls KC and God’s Favor KC in their next matches would see them become the third and fourth teams, respectively, to secure back-to-back victories this season, following Surprise KC and Dream Girls KC.
