Jacob Gbayan netted an equalizer for the Jabu FC side to earn a deserved draw away to the riverside team Wein Town United Football Club, who dropped points for the first time of the second phase and second time since the season kick off.
Wein Town United FC were held to a one -all draw in an away fixture to Jabu FC, as Jacob Gbayan 70 ‘ minute goal canceled out substitute Olu Gibeon goal in the 60 ‘ minus after a scoreless first half at the Unification Sports Pitch in Smell No Taste on 13 February.
Wein Town United FC dominated possession but it was the home team Jabu FC who had all the biggest openings of the first half.
Wein Town United Football Club made them pay as substitute Olu Gibeon found the net just six minutes for the visitors after his introduction in the second half for Coach Obediah Gbeh in the 60th minute. But it was just 10 minutes after the home team score through a beautiful strike from Jacob Gbayan the 70′ minute to levelled the score one-at piece at full-time.
Their ambitions this season are much higher so anything else than returning to winning ways after dropping points threatens to destabilize their title hopes.
Wein Town United FC sits on top of the league table of the Upper Sub-Committee of the LFA-Margibi County Sub-Association Third Division 2022-2023 League Season with 20 points.
The team played 8 games, winning 6 drawing 2 without a single defeat.
The club, Wein Town United FC next fixture is on February 19, 2023 in a fixture at home to Blackman Warrior FC at the Unification Sports Pitch in Smell No Taste, Lower Margibi County.
