Alleged Murderers Of President Tubman’s Son Arrested In Rivercess County

Monrovia- Two suspects linked to the alleged murder of former Liberian resident Williams V.S. Tubman, John Hilary Tubman have admitted to committing the crime after they were arrested.

The suspects are Aloysious Garplah believed to be 19 and Christian Byron Anderson, age not known.

Police Inspector General, Patrick Susie in a news conference at the police headquarters in Monrovia on Tuesda , November 16, 2021, said suspects Anderson and Garplah were arrested in Rivercess County, where they were kept at Garplah parents’ home whom police claimed was in the know of what they (suspects) did.

Garplah’s parents are also under police custody for questioning.

IG Sudue added that suspect Anderson admitted committing the crime based on personnel reason(s).

On November 3, 2021, the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Justice order an autopsies on the remains of John H. Tubman, Maude Elliott and Williams R. Tolbert, Jr III, as part of the full scale investigation into their deaths.

On September 22, 2021, the deceased John H. Tubman was found dead in a pool of blood at his fiamah residence something that shocked community members.

Liberia’s police in Inspection General Sudue said nephew to the late John Tubman, Williams V.S. Tubman (“Baby Shad”) who was also person of interest was called for questioning but from the investigation, he seems not to be link to the crime and he was signed for by his lawyer.

Also the government of Liberia recently announced a USD $15,000 reward for anyone who will provide information linking to the deaths of the deceased.

On September 22, 2021, October 31, 2021 and November 1,2021 respectively, Liberians woke up to the gruesome killings of Tubman, Elliott and Tolbert their homes with suspects being at large.

Meanwhile, the Liberia National police has declared Emmanuel Forkey wanted as one of the suspects link to the killing of John Tubman.

As for Elliott and Tolbert, police searching net is around to capture those behind the killings of the two deceased names mentioned above.
