Some Projects Nearing Completion

BARCLAYVILLE, Liberia– Grand Kru County Senator, Numene T. H. Bartekwa’s office has announced significant progress on a number of youth, education and public infrastructure projects across the county, with several facilities completed and awaiting formal dedication.

According to a project update released by the Senator’s office, nine projects are currently at various stages of implementation across Grand Kru.

Five projects have reportedly been completed and are pending dedication. They include the Setor Youth Center, Behwan Youth Center, Garraway Youth Center, Sawken Elementary School in Garraway, and Togbaklee Elementary School in Pinicess.

The Nyankunkpo Elementary School in Bolloh is also nearing full completion.

At the same time, construction is continuing on the Wadabo City Hall in Gbanken, Trembo City Hall in Dougbo, and Gbalakpo Youth Center in Felorken.

The developments form part of Senator Bartekwa’s reported efforts to expand educational opportunities, youth facilities and community infrastructure across Grand Kru County.

Projects dedicated in April

The Senator’s office also highlighted several projects dedicated in April 2026.

They include the Grandcess Youth Center, A.A. Hoff Elementary School Annex in Big Suehn/Kplio, Pinicess Nursing Quarters, and Philadelphia Elementary School in Forpoh.

The Richard Henries Elementary and Junior High School in Filorken, Kplio, was also listed among the projects, although its formal dedication remains pending.

The latest update was issued by Darius Doe, Special Assistant to Senator Numene T. H. Bartekwa.

With several projects now completed and others approaching completion, the Senator’s office says the interventions are intended to provide communities with improved educational facilities, youth spaces and public infrastructure.
