Boost To The Petrol Trade Sector In Gbarnga, With Opening Of Another Filling Station

Residents Promise To Take Ownership

GBARNGA, Liberia—Residents of this central city have expressed joy over the opening of a new filling station here, which is expected to improve the petrol trade industry.

God’s Willing Inc. has opened a filling station the capital of Bong County.

The dedication ceremony, which was held earlier this week, coincided with the birthday of the CEO on July 15, 2024.

According to the CEO Odoshall Karnue, this newly opened filling station will not only provide job opportunities for some Liberians, but will impact the country’s economy.

Mr. Karnue told journalists that his business started in 1994 where he “developed a passion for petroleum products including kerosene that even sponsored him through High School”.

“After the money got low, I purchased motorcycles to help me expand my business,” he told journalists at the gathering Monday.

The head of this petrol company, which has branches in several parts of the country including the capital, Monrovia, further announced a plan extend to the filling across Liberia.

The latest opening of God’s Willing Inc. Gbarnga Branch is the 14th in the number of filling stations it has across Liberia.

This company is emerging as one of giants in the petroleum products in Liberia” the God’s Willing INC. discloses.

Mr. Karnue, a national development champion, has since urged the government of Liberia to support successful entrepreneurs like him to create more millionaires as well as boost the country’s economy.

The modern filing station facility comprises a minimart, offices, among other things.

Mr. Karnue, an accounting graduate from Liberia International Christian College, also distributes petroleum products and owns a mansion in Nimba County.

Also speaking, Mr. Prince Howard, the CEO of Alvino Hotel in Ganta, Nimba County called on residents to use of the facility.

At the same time, the CEO of Alvino Hotel has announced a plan to invest US$1.2 Million Sixty (60) bedrooms Guest House in Gbarnga.

The State-of-the-art facility will also have a swimming pool at the top of the building.

According to him, the land is already procured and other formalities are ongoing.

“We will open door for tourism, and investment. We are from Nimba County, we believe in investment or businesses,” Mr. Howard stated.

Dedicating the facility on Monday, Pastor Nehemiah Paye, Senior Pastor of the Christian Bible Church urged the management to “keep focus of their business”.

“Don’t get involved into something different. Focus on your business as everything you have belongs to God,” he stated during the cutting of the ribbon.

Meanwhile, some residents who graced the occasion lauded the management of God’s Willing INC. for the huge investment.

They promised to “take ownership” of the project in Gbarnga, Bong County.
