Said To Have Received Master’s in  Counterterrorism, Intelligence, And International Security (Government)

This news outlet, www.newspublictrust.com a short while ago received a dispatch from former Monrovia City Mayor who is also Secretary General of the main opposition CDC party, Jefferson Tambo Koijee that he has graduated with a Master’s degree in Counterterrorism and International Security from the Reichman University in the state of Israel.

The firebrand CDC Secretary General, who served as Mayor of the Liberian capital up to the defeat of former President George Manneh Weah in the 2023 presidential election, was among several former Weah government officials slapped with sanctions by the United Sates government towards the end of his regime.

“I was conferred with a Master’s degree in Counterterrorism, Intelligence, and International Security (Government) from Reichman University one of Israel’s most prestigious private universities, educating students from over 90 countries around the world,” former Mayor Koijee said in a WhatsApp message this evening (Tuesday, June 9, 2026).

When asked this evening where he was talking to this Reporter from on the line, former Mayor Koijee said Israel.

Before his departure from Liberia, Koijee got a Bachelor’s degree from the state-owned University of Liiberia.
