Liberia Is Open To Both Investment Proposals And Technical Cooperation-Says NAFAA BOSS

Liberia-The Director General of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA) has disclosed that Liberia is open to both investment proposals and technical cooperation, especially in the Fisheries sector.

Speaking Friday, February 24, 2023 during a courtesy meeting with, Ambassador Kim Young-Chae, Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Korea to Liberia, Director General Emma Metieh Glassco emphasized the strong relationship that existed between Liberia and Korea since their formation as independent nations.

During the courtesy meeting, both parties agreed to ensure that said relationship is sustained and strengthened.

Ambassador Kim Young-Chae was accompanied by a delegation including a Fisheries Investor Mr. Sun Lee Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grand Bleu SA.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sun Lee, CEO of Grand Bleu, SA, expressed his company’s interest in Liberia Fisheries, specifically, the Tuna Fisheries and is expected to flag a tuna vessel under the Liberian Flag.
