LNP Receives Donations From AME University And A Philanthropist

Liberia National Police (LNP) has received significant donations from the AMEU and Liberian Philanthropist aimed at enhancing their operations, a LNP press release said.

The African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) donated several Road Traffic Cones to the LNP’s Zone One Detachment on Bushrod Island, Montserrado County.

During the presentation on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at LNP headquarters, AMEU President Dr. Alvin Attah expressed confidence that these items would positively impact traffic-related operations.

Dr. Attah also pledged similar assistance to other LNP detachments across the country.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Liberia National Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police for Operations, Atty. J. Nelson Freeman, thank AMEU Administration for the donation, promising to use the donated materials for the purpose intended.

In a separate gesture, an anonymous Liberian philanthropist donated two hundred rain gears to the LNP.

The philanthropist, recognizing the hard work of LNP officers in combating crimes, made the donation during a ceremony at LNP headquarters on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Deputy Inspector General of Police for Operations, Atty. J. Nelson Freeman, graciously accepted the rain gears on behalf of the LNP, emphasizing their timely significance.

Atty. Freeman reaffirmed the LNP’s commitment to fulfilling its statutory duties and encouraged fellow Liberians to follow the philanthropist’s example. Signed:
