The Liberia National Police (LNP) today, Monday, January 12, 2026 formally charged with sodomy and sent to court the suspended Special Assistant at the National Security Agency (NSA), Peter Bon Jallah, after police investigation found enough evidence to hold him culpable for the sodomizing of a 16-year-old boy in Monrovia recently.

Mr. Jallah was later put behind bars at the Monrovia Central Prison, after being formally charged with the crimes of sodomy, statutory rape, gang rape and kidnapping in violation of sections of the country’s Penal Code.

The minor, a young soccer player from the community, is currently hospitalized and undergoing medical treatment and the sexual assault is reported to have taken place last week.
