The Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Monrovia’s Gardnerville suburb has staged several games in the 2022 Inter School Sports Association (ISSA) National Championship.

The tournament officially kicked off on Monday, 26 September at the opened-air Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnerville where several schools from over three counties participating in such tournament in both kickball and football category.

In game three of the football category of Group B. Johnathan Glaydor alias, “Messi” lone strike in the first half secured a narrow 1-0 win for Champions Agape High School over UNITED INLAND CHURCH ACADEMY (ULICA).

Agape High School won the championship of the 2021-2022 Upper-Margibi County ISSA League without a single defeat during the just ended School League.

Champions Agape High School is yet to taste a single defeat this season in any competition. The Upper-Margibi County ISSA League Champions next fixture is schedule for Tuesday, 27 September at 1PM in a fixture against Arthur F. Kula in the final football showpiece at the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnerville.

A win for the Margibi County Champions Agape High School moves to the next round of the tournament.

The tournament brings together several High Schools Champions from several counties in Liberia. Teams or schools include Champions New Testament Baptist School and Grace Baptist High School from Grand Bassa and Montserrado Counties, respectively in the kickball category; while there are Champions Agape High School and ULICA of Margibi and Nimba Counties, respectively.

The Grand finals of the Inter School Sports Association (ISSA) National Championship tournament is schedule for this Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Tusa Field Sports Stadium in Gardnerville, outside Monrovia.
