As United Angels KC Finish First To End First Phase In LKF League

The famous Old Trafford Sports Pitch in Weala, Margibi County, was the center of attraction over the weekend as exciting kickball action continued in the ongoing Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF) Margibi Sub-Association 2nd Division 2025-2026 League Season.
It was a thrilling weekend for kickball lovers as clubs competed at the venue for the very first time since the start of the season.

Before kickoff, prominent businessman and District #5 Representative hopeful, CEO Emmanuel Folley of Aqua Trust Mineral Water Company in the Gotumo Community, performed the ceremonial kickoff as Guest of Honor.

During his remarks, Folley pledged his full support to the competition and expressed his admiration for the standard of the games.
“Against this background, I will make available the cash prize for the second-place winner of the league. Let it be on record that the Subassociation has my fullest support,” he stated.
Match Results – Sunday, 24 May 2026
Game One, God’s Favour KC secured a convincing 6-3 victory over Dream Girls KC, with Princess Tarnue playing a pivotal role in her side’s success.
Game Two
In a crucial top-of-the-table clash, United Angels KC defeated Surprise KC 2-1 to move to the top of the standings and end the first phase as league leaders.
United Angels now sit first with 17 points from 8 matches (5 wins, 2 draws, 1 defeat), while Surprise KC dropped to third with 15 points from 8 matches.
Game Three
Defending champions Fuamah Girls KC recorded the biggest win of the season, humiliating Kamara KC 10-2 to move into second place.
The victory keeps Fuamah Girls KC’s back-to-back title hopes alive as they now sit on 16 points from 8 matches, just one point behind leaders United Angels KC.
The defeat also saw Kamara KC become the first team to concede double-digit home runs in a single match this season.
Game Four
Weala DerbyThe day’s final fixture was the much-anticipated Weala derby between neighbours Mighty Power KC and Future Girls KC.
In what many considered an upset, debutants Mighty Power KC claimed a brilliant 3-0 victory over Future Girls KC to announce themselves in style.
Pitcher Mary Johnson and first base miner Satta Blackie delivered outstanding performances to guide Mighty Power KC to the famous win.
The Weala-based side ends the first phase in 6th place with 11 points, having recorded 3 wins, 3 draws, and 2 defeats in their debut campaign.
The league will now go on a short break and resume early next month for the second phase, while this year’s knockout competition is scheduled for 29th and 30th May 2026.
Fuamah Girls KC are the defending league champions, while Dream Girls KC are the reigning knockout champions.
