As The Club Advances To 4th Place In The LFA-Margibi Sub-Association Third Division League

Lester Kollie’s 3rd goal of the season helped Africa Sports Academy moves to fourth place in the LFA-Margibi Sub-Association Third Division League thanks to him for such a vital goal that gives Africa Sports Academy a 1-0 win over SLY FC.

A third goal in nine appearances for club from the in-form striker this season in the competition saw his first half goal helping his club grab the first win of the second phase of the competition on Tuesday, 5 March at the most famous Nancy B.  Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County.

The win moves the champion at 4th place of the table with just a point ahead of SLY FC who sat at before such crucial.

The Margibi County Champions Africa Sports Academy hasn’t tasted a single defeat since the club conceded a defeat to SUSA FC on 27 January at the opened-air Nancy B Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata .

SUSA FC win over Africa Sports Academy marks the third defeat for the Margibi County Champions Africa Sports Academy.

Since the defeat to the former back-to- back champions SUSA the defending champions, Africa Sports Academy played five games winning 4 and drawing 1.

In other results on Tuesday, 5 March at the opened-air Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County Kollie Jallah brace and Cebeinor Baryoegar goal give One Goal Footbal Academy a comfortably 3-1 win over JABU FC in game one while in game two it was a goal feast which saw Daniel Harlie hat trick and Pleaka Blee goal secured a convincing 4-2 win for FC Quincy against Doris FC at the same venue.

While at the Unification Sports Pitch in Harbel on Wednesday, 6 March Weintown United FC and SUSA FC settled to a one-all-draw in a reschedule match

Weintown United FC took a 1-0 halftime win over SUSA on Sunday, 3 March in the opening match of the second phase of the competition. But the game was cut of dued to a heavy pour of rain that resulted such match to be played on Wednesday, 6 March at the same venue.

Daniel Harlie hat trick and Pleaka Blee goal help FC Quincy mantain top spot of the competition.

FC Quincy now sits on the league table with 17 points from 9 games played with 2 points ahead of second place One Goal Footbal Academy who sits second place with 15 points from 9 games.

Kollie Jallah brace for One Goal Footbal Academy and Daniel Harlie hat trick for FC Quincy on Tuesday, 5 March at the opened-air Nancy B Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata in the team victory make them the competition joint highest goal scorer with 9 goals each.

Jallah and Harlie are also the highest goal scorer for the respective clubs which include One Goal Footbal Academy and FC Quincy.

The league continues on Sunday, 10 March at the two venues of the competition.

At the most famous Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata, Margibi League leader FC Quincy rubs shoulder with eight place KA-CITY at 2:00 PM in game one while in game two fourth place Africa Sports Academy entertain nineth place JABU FC at 4:00PM.

At the Lower end in Harbel of the Unification Sports Pitch in game one seventh place Weintown United FC and sixth place Doris FC rub shoulder at 2:00PM while in the day final showpiece third place SUSA FC and fifth place SLY FC fight at 4:00PM.
