Vocal Liberian Lawyer, Cllr. Pearl Bull Blames Court Officers For Not Saving Archie Ponpon

TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia- A vocal Liberian lawyer, Cllr. Pearl Brown Bull has blamed judicial officers here for failing to prevent one of the Judiciary staffers, Archie Ponpon from setting himself ablaze on Monday.

Cllr. Bull, who immediately followed Ponpon to the John F. Kennedy Hospital ,claimed that some court officers were standing, laughing and watching Archie Ponpon wasting the gasoline his without them saving him. But so far, three is no reaction from the court officers. The radical judicial staffer had earlier threatened to carry out the sucidal act.

Mr. Ponpon had earlier announced that he would set himself on fire on the grounds of the Temple of Justice—the seat of the Judiciary branch of government where the Supreme Court of Liberia operates from.

sitting his self at blaze due to his infinite suspension by the office of the personnel director and turned over to the Ministry of Justice for Investigation about his involvement of accusing the Chief Justice of Killing him.

According to Cllr. Bull, she attempted to save him but when she tried to take the fire lighter from his hand, Archie Ponpon immediately lit it after pouring the gasoline in a mineral water bottle on himself.

In an angry mood, the Liberian Lawyer expressed disappointment in both court officers and judicial workers for their failure to save Ponpon.
