MONROVIA – Liberia’s Finance Minister, Samuel D. Tweah along with his wife Delecia Tweah have been involved in a motor accident along the Lofa highway.
The accident occurred Sunday, November 27, 2022 at about 3:45 P.M. around Ganglota – a town on the Lofa highway
Minister Tweah had gone to Voinjama to deliver a keynote address at the 5th Commencement Convocation of the Lofa County Community College.
On board the vehicle were Minister Tweah, his wife, the driver of the vehicle and a security personnel.
The Ministry of Finance boss was immediately rushed to the Phebe Hospital in Bong County for medical attention where he was stabilized and transferred to the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital in Monrovia.
A reporter from the Liberia News Agency who traveled with the Minister, confirmed that the motor vehicle which the Minister was riding, was completely damaged.
